Ingredients

For the broth and tofu

• 1 cup water, stock, or dashi
• 3 Tbsp shoyu
• 1 1/2 Tbsp honey
• 1 Tbsp mirin
• 4 oz tofu cutlets, tofu burgers, or tofu pouches, cut into 1/2-inch strips
• Sliced onions, quantity and type unspecified

For serving

• 1 cup cooked rice, brown rice if desired
• Dash of sansho pepper
• Nori, optional
• Sweet vinegared ginger-root slivers, optional
